Three championship newcomers as Kerry get set for Munster semi-final

While two other players will make their first championship start for the Kingdom.

KERRY HAVE NAMED three championship newcomers for Sunday’s Munster SFC semi-final with Clare with two further players making their first starts for the Kingdom.

Brian Kelly in goal, Paul Murphy at corner back, Michael and Paul Geaney as well as Stephen O’Brien in attack all come into a side captained by Fionn Fitzgerald.

The Geaney cousins made their debut as substitutes in last year’s campaign but Kelly, Murphy and O’Brien get their first taste of championship action.

Elsewhere, Eamonn Fitzmaurice welcomes back Killian Young who returns from a broken ankle received in the lead in to last year’s All-Ireland semi-final and Declan O’Sullivan whose last game in green and gold was that loss to Dublin last season.

Throw-in at Cusack Park, Ennis is at 3.30pm on Sunday.
